Quality & packing

Graded honestly, packed for the trip.

A refurbished router is only worth what its grading says. Here is the exact process every lot passes through before it is offered to you — and the paperwork that travels with it.

Condition grades

Three grades, stated up front.

The grade is agreed in writing before the lot is packed. Photos of the actual units are sent for approval.

A

Grade A — Retail ready

Clean housing with no visible scuffs, full accessories, ready to sit on a retail shelf.

  • No cracks or deep marks
  • Original colour intact
  • Retail carton available
B

Grade B — Light marks

Fully functional with light cosmetic wear from previous installation. The volume choice for most wholesalers.

  • Minor scuffs on housing
  • All ports and radios tested
  • Neutral or original carton
C

Grade C — Volume pricing

Heavier cosmetic marks, fully tested and priced for price-sensitive markets and bundle deals.

  • Visible wear, no structural damage
  • Function test passed
  • Best unit cost
Test procedure

What “tested working” actually means.

Four checks per unit, recorded per lot. Units that fail are pulled from the lot, not discounted into it.

01

Power & reset

Adapter check, boot test and factory reset to clear previous operator configuration.

02

WAN / LAN

Wired handshake on every port, DHCP lease test and throughput sanity check.

03

2.4 / 5 GHz radios

Both bands brought up, SSID broadcast confirmed and a client association test on each band.

04

Firmware & label

Firmware version recorded, serial and model labels checked, cosmetic grade assigned.

Packing

Built for a 40HQ, not a parcel.

Unit level Router, matched adapter and antenna packed per unit; accessories counted against the model sheet.
Carton level Export master carton with model, quantity and lot number printed; carton marks matched to your instructions.
Container level Mixed models loaded against a written plan, with pallet plan and loading photos shared before sealing.
Documents

Paperwork per shipment.

1. Document set CE / RoHS documentation available on request
2. Document set IPv6-ready firmware on current TP-LINK and Tenda lots
3. Document set Function test before packing, results recorded per lot
4. Document set Carton marks, labels and pallet plans confirmed before loading
Buyer questions

Straight answers.

The six questions we answer most often on Alibaba and by email.

What does “refurbished / tested working” mean?
Units are collected from trade-in and operator programmes, cleaned, reset to factory firmware and function-tested (power, WAN/LAN, 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz radios). Units that fail are removed from the lot.
How are units graded?
Grade A: clean housing, no visible scuffs, retail-ready. Grade B: light cosmetic marks, fully functional. Grade C: heavier marks, functional and priced for volume markets. The grade is agreed before packing.
Can I mix brands and models in one container?
Yes. Most wholesale orders mix TP-LINK, Tenda and OEM models. We build a loading plan and confirm carton counts before the container is sealed.
What is the minimum order?
Sample orders start from 1 pc on many listings. Container pricing usually starts at 300–500 pcs per model depending on the unit.
Which ports do you ship to?
We ship FOB Shenzhen / Guangzhou or CIF to African, Gulf, Southeast Asian and Latin American ports. Share your destination and we will quote the freight.
Do you supply spare parts and adapters?
Yes — power adapters, antennas and cartons can be added to a lot. Tell us the plug standard (EU / UK / US) required for your market.
Next step

Ask for a lot photo sheet.

Tell us the model and quantity — we will send the current grading photos and a firm unit price.
